May 6, 2024The Importance of Proper Earthing in Electrical Systems
May 6, 2024Evio has successfully implemented Siemens’ Hot-Standby Redundant PLC-based system to automate water treatment plants, collaborating with various OEMs and consultants. Over 40 systems have been commissioned, catering to diverse water treatment needs including wastewater treatment plants (ETP), sewage treatment plants, and desalination facilities.
The project’s scope encompassed several key subsystems:
- Implementation of Hot-Standby Redundant PLC for enhanced reliability
- Deployment of Distributed Remote I/O stations including ET-200SP & SIL-2 ET-200M, supporting up to 4200 I/O’s with IO Redundancy option for optimized performance.
- Establishment of redundant server and client configurations to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Provision of customizable reports with an automated generation feature, facilitating streamlined monitoring and analysis.
- Integration of safety programming utilizing the CFC package, particularly where the SIL system is provided, enhancing operational safety.
- Introduction of a web client for remote monitoring, enabling real-time oversight from anywhere.
- Establishment of data connectivity with a centralized DCS system for efficient data management and control.
